Surge Migrate is a product of Surge Software Solutions Private Limited, an IT services firm in Bengaluru with an Adobe Experience Cloud practice. We built it to take the mechanical work out of AEM 6.5 migrations while keeping engineers in charge of every change.

- Founded in Bengaluru in 2018 by Venu Gopal Reddy Muvva, and grown from one person to a team of more than 100 consultants.
- An Adobe Experience Cloud practice covering AEM, Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Analytics and Commerce, for enterprise clients in the US and India.
- Its own AI infrastructure. Surge designed its own AI server and open-source model stack. That is where Surge Migrate runs client code, instead of third-party AI services.
- A product company too. The same team builds ReplyDak and Shishya on that infrastructure.

Working with Adobe's content platform since its CQ days, first at Adobe, then as an IBM architect, then running his own Adobe practice.

Why we built it
AEM 6.5 support is ending, and much of a Cloud Service migration is the same mechanical change repeated across hundreds of files. We wanted tooling that finds that work exactly, drafts the fixes on infrastructure we control, and leaves every decision and approval with engineers.
